Draft awaiting legal review. The lawyer and the operator fill in the parts in square brackets. This English text translates the Hungarian draft.

1. Who we are and what Festlane is for

Festlane is a web app that lets you order drinks and other products from your phone at stadiums, arenas and festivals, and pick up your order at the counter you chose once it is ready. The app is operated by [operator's company name] (registered office: [address], company registration number: [number], tax number: [number], e-mail: support@festlane.live) (hereinafter: Festlane).

The products are sold by the venue's catering operator (hereinafter: the Caterer), and the purchase contract is made between you and the Caterer. Festlane provides the online platform for it, passes your order to the counter and tells you when you can pick it up. You'll find the Caterer of each venue on the venue's page and in your order confirmation.

2. Account and login

You log in to order with your e-mail address: we send a six-digit code to it that is valid for ten minutes, and the first code creates your account. You accept these terms when you ask for the code (or log in with Google). You don't need to give your name to order, because the pickup code tells your orders apart; if you like, you can add it in your profile, and the counter then uses it. You can delete your account at any time in your profile.

Your account is yours, so please do not pass your login code to anyone. If you think someone else is using your account, write to us at support@festlane.live.

3. How ordering works

You choose the venue, the counter and the products, and in the basket you can set how many cups you bring back. Prices are the Caterer's prices and include VAT. Before you pay, a summary shows the price of the products, the cup deposit, the tip and the total to pay.

The tip is voluntary, you give it as an amount at the end of your order, and all of it goes to the bartender who makes your order.

Your order becomes final when the payment succeeds, and that is when it appears on the counter's screen. If the payment fails, the order waits for payment and you can try again for [15] minutes; after that the system deletes it and the reserved products go back on sale.

4. Payment

You pay through the Caterer's payment provider, and the money goes straight to the Caterer. Your card and payment details are handled by the payment provider; Festlane neither sees nor stores them.

5. Pickup

After you pay you get a four-digit pickup code. When your order is ready, your phone tells you and we also send an e-mail. Show the code at the counter to pick up your order. You can share the code with someone who picks up the order for you.

Picking up the order is your responsibility, so please go to the counter soon after you are told it is ready.

6. Cancellation and refunds

While your order is waiting for payment, you can cancel it free of charge on the order's page. You can also cancel a paid order there until the bartender starts preparing it. After that the order can be cancelled by the Caterer, for example when a product has sold out in the meantime. When a paid order is cancelled, we refund the full amount to what you paid with, and the refund usually shows up within a few working days.

Drinks and food made for immediate consumption are perishable products that keep only for a short time, so the consumer's right of withdrawal does not apply to them under the law.

7. Cup deposit

When the venue uses returnable cups, the cup deposit is charged at payment for the cups you don't bring back. If you say in the basket that you'll bring cups back but hand in fewer at pickup, we charge the deposit for the missing cups to what you paid with at pickup, at the price you saw when ordering.

8. Alcohol and age

Only people aged 18 or over may buy alcohol. With your first order of an alcoholic product you declare that you are over 18, and the declaration counts for your account's later orders; some venues also ask for a one-time identity check. Whether to serve alcohol is the Caterer's decision: the counter may ask for your ID at pickup and may refuse to serve you if you cannot prove your age or appear to be drunk. If you cannot prove your age, the counter keeps the alcoholic items and hands over the rest of your order, and we refund the price of the kept items and their cup deposit to what you paid with; if your order has alcoholic items only, we refund the full amount.

9. Complaints and contact

You can make a complaint about the products at the counter on site, or later with the Caterer. For questions about the app, the payment or a refund, write to us at support@festlane.live, and we answer within [15] days. In a consumer dispute you can turn to the conciliation body of your place of residence.

10. Liability and changes

We do everything we can to keep the app running, but at crowded venues the mobile network may be slow or unavailable. Festlane is liable for how the app works to the extent the law allows; the Caterer is responsible for the quality of the products and for the service.

We may change these terms; we tell you about a change at your next login, and a change does not apply to orders already placed. These terms are governed by Hungarian law.
